Jim Anderson Still Stands Alone In Written Term Limits Pledge

The majority of Americans want term limits for their
elected officials. What used to be 70% support is now

90%. Here in the 4th district, I am the only candidate
that is actually listening to the people. From the
beginning, I am the only one in the race that has made
a written term limits pledge, and did so because it was
the right thing to do.

I like many Americans are sick and tired of career
politicians, regardless of party. As a representative
who listens, I will put the people’s concerns ahead of
my own. It is about trust. Trust that our government
will not govern over the people, but will govern by the
people, just as our Constitution states.
If your elected officials have no intention of serving you, than why do they deserve your
vote. On August 3rd, it is time for Republicans in the 4th district to take a stand and say
NO to more of the same.
Jim Anderson
Constitutional Conservative Candidate (R)
U.S. Congress – Kansas 4th District

I am glad that you are talking about the issues that really matter. The Washington politics and mud slinging of the others is why Americans are sick and tired of politicians.
Jim is a regular citizen who is really talking and listening to us in the 4th district.
Thanks for the breath of fresh air.

  2. Veteran1965 says:

What a great video. I am amazed that all of the other candidate supporters are willing to just roll this issue under the mat. If they will not commit like Jim has, PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANOTHER CAREER POLITICIAN IN THERE!

  3. Martha says:

Jim, we met at the Derby parade and I can see why everyone calls you the citizen choice. Great video and thank you for actually listening to the people

  4. Jim B says:

I still believe that it should the voter who determines term limits, I do commend you for recognizing an issue and taking a stand. Given all of the problem in D.C., I could see myself coming around to the idea.

  5. It’s nice to see we have the choice of someone that is for term limits. It’s refreshing to see.

    Jim B,

I agree that the voters should be able to determine term limits, but the 2 party system kills it:

If you’ve got a rep that does a good job 75% of the time, you certainly wouldn’t replace him with someone from a different party that you think might do a good job 25% of the time. You’d vote for the ‘lesser of two evils.’ However, when the rep’s turn is up, you have a chance to put in someone who might do better than 75%.
