Jim Anderson Endorsed by Joe The Plumber
Joe the Plumber to speak in Wichita, and endorse Jim Anderson in the race.
Wichita, KS- Joe Wurzelbacher, or Joe the Plumber as he is more commonly known will visit Wichita to endorse Jim Anderson for the Kansas 4th district congressional seat. Joe will speak with Jim Anderson at a town hall event at the Murdock Theatre, 536 N. Broadway in Wichita. The event will feature a meet and greet and BBQ dinner with Jim and Joe provided by Two Brothers BBQ, beginning at 5:30 PM. Admission to the town hall meeting is $5, and $25 will cover admittance to both the town hall, the pre-event dinner and will include a picture with Joe. Joe the Plumber has been the champion of small-business owners and the working man since he was taped asking then Senator Barack Obama about his plan and philosophy of taxes. To which Mr. Obama declared “I think when you spread the wealth around, it is good for everybody.” On learning of Anderson’s candidacy Joe commented “I was excited to hear that a small-business owner and Constitution minded guy like Jim was willing to take some commonsense to Washington D.C.” He continued, “Jim is exactly the kind of person we need in Kansas and across our country if we want to restore what has made us great, and keep our freedoms for our next generation.” Joe reiterated that so many are out of touch with our country’s founding and what it means to be an American, he concluded “Benjamin Franklin said, “The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness, you have to catch it for yourself.”
The town hall event will be a wide-ranging discussion on the issues of the day including focuses on individual responsibility and liberty, real citizen representation in Washington D.C. and basing decisions on principles rather than party politics.
