Jim celebrates his 50th birthday today. It seems like yesterday when he boarded the flight where I was working with the new cockpit crew to take over the trip. It’s hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago when I was a flight attendant and he was a dashing young pilot in his uniform. After eighteen years of marriage, three children, running a business and now as a congressional candidate, he’s still my hero for doing what he believes in, against all odds.
